Job Description:

Reports to: Assistant General Manager – Alternative Channels
Department:  Alternative Channels

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the bank’s extensive ATM network of 2,000+ terminals as a business.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Description

 Performance Indicators
 
·          Strategy development

  • Iidentifying options and recommending where the business should go, securing executive buy in for investment / plan
  • International best practice / development

·          Business development

  • Customer relationships, revenue generation.
  • Revenue growth
  • Additional sources of revenue
  • New offsite locations

·          Customer service

  • Identifying KPI’s for the ATM service, negotiating SLA’s with the support areas and following compliance with them.
  • ATM Availability
  • Customer feedback

·          Network planning and distribution

  • specifically a scientific approach to the number and location of ATM’s.
  • Card : ATM ratio
  • Market share

·          Profit and loss management

  • Enhancing the revenue, managing the costs.
  • Revenue growth.
  • Additional sources of revenue
  • Cost per transaction reduction
  • Overall cost control.

 
Note: Job holder to review job dimensions with recommendations regarding resourcing.

Indirect control / supervision of support areas such as operations IT through SLA’s.

FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

Within guidelines of the bank and as documented by the AGM, Alternative Channels.

 

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Minimum – degree level. Masters in Business Administration would be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years Managerial experience in managing an ATM business.
  • English language skills – essential and Arabic – advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
