Department: Operations   
Reports to: Closing Manager

Purpose:
Under the direction of the Manager of Operations, the Closer/Settlement Coordinator is responsible for planning and directing the closing and delivery function of a home finance transaction.

Key Accountabilities 
  
Possible Goals, Targets & Standards

  • Participate in the establishment of operating objective for the closing/delivery function.
  • Work with management to formulate policies and implements such to meet operating objectives.
  • Work with processors, underwriting, and accounting division to schedule and coordinate settlements.
  • Coordinate the printing and delivery of Finance transaction documents for execution by clients.
  • Review settlement conditions associated with specific finance transactions.
  • Set up quality control procedures to eliminate mistakes in documentation.
  • Deliver or direct the delivery of the finance packages to custodial services.
  • Train personnel in the review and preparation of settlement documents and conditions.
  • Prepare management and other reports as directed by the Supervisor. 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience Prerequisites
Minimum Education / Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Desirable Education / Qualifications

  • Minimum years of experience: 2
  • Desired years of experience: 3

Language skills required

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Fluent spoken and written Arabic

Person Specification
Essential:

  • Finance document experience or equivalent in preparing closing documents
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work within a technology environment.
  • Good organization skills and be detail oriented.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to perform well under pressure.
