Job Description:

Financials/Output related activities (Income/Expenses/Profit etc)
1. Meet revenue target and key performance indicators, in addition to optimizing unrealized portfolio value
2. Assist in originating investment opportunities, evaluation and make recommendations to the investment committee.
 
Customer/Product/Market related activities (Internal / External) (e.g. Satisfaction, Acquisition, Retention, Cross-sell/Share-of-wallet, Relationship, Service, Product/Solutions)
1. Help to increase portfolio size to in line with annual business objectives, whilst satisfying risk return objectives of program and revenue targets
2.Build and manage relationships with Private Equity sponsors   
3.Prepare internal investment committee memoranda to help facilitate investment recommendations for Bank Committee approval  
 
Process/Technical related activities (e.g. Risk, Controls, Compliance, Audit, Productivity, Quality, Discipline, Change Management, Adaptability, Success Transfer)
1. Conduct analysis to facilitate financing and investment decisions
2. Maintain regular portfolio monitoring and reporting, feeding output into risk management and investment committee
3. Sourcing, originating, structuring and executing a diverse range of investment transactions
4. To ensure that business is managed in line with Bank's internal guidelines, business & compliance related policies  and relevant local regulations issued by SAMA,CMA or Government departments / Agencies.
5.Make investment recommendations based on 3rd party and independent research  

People/Leadership/Teamwork/Corporate Citizenship related activities (e.g. Collaboration/Team work, Knowledge sharing, Development, Sharing Resources/Helping others)
1. Work closely with key internal partners like Operations, Investment, Legal and Middle Office colleagues
2. Works with other as a highly collabrative associate and a team member.
3.Source investment opportunities

1. To be fully aware of BCP team and participate in testing atleast once in a year.
2. To ensure that there is no regulatory breaches or adverse internal or external audit comments measured by zero financial penalty or financial loss to Bank

  • Understand on-going global private equity landscape and relevant issues related to industry
  • Understand risk/return dynamics as it relates to individual investments and a private equity portfolio as a whole

Job specific / technical skills 

  • Research, analyze and evaluate principal investment opportunities and potential fund investments 
  • Develop complex financial models and valuation analysis, including DCF, precedent transactions comparable company, ability to pay and LBO analysis
  • Conduct due diligence on opportunities including past and projected financial performance, quality of management teams, investment merits and risks, expected returns, regulatory environment, industry dynamics and other relevant factors 
  • Review 3rd party due diligence reports and meet with company management and review past performance, strategy, outlook, industry issues, and other relevant topics 
  • Manage relationships with investment partners and assist in the negotiation and execution of agreements and other transaction-related documentation
  • Review capital calls and distributions; coordinate with internal groups with respect to monitoring ongoing investments; monitor ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies and oversee the reviews of valuations for portfolio companies as well as attend board meetings / LP meetings as required
  • Responsibility for building, leveraging and maintaing relationships with portfolio company management teams and private equity sponsors
