Job Description:
  • This position requires a broad knowledge of diverse fixed income markets, particularly regional Treasuries, corporate and sovereign bonds
  • Develop trade ideas, establish market views, and create asset allocation strategies in support of portfolio management.
  • Filter and examine competitive fixed income markets in search of investments as per investment strategy and goals.
  • Experience with implementing quantitative analytics in portfolio optimization, attribution, rich/cheap, OAS, and hedging is important.
  • Develop and establish goals for assigned branches in conjunction with senior management.
  • Involved in the trade allocation process.
  • Handle securities orders originating from internal departments.
  • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to trade execution & trade reconciliation.
  • Oversight of all bonds-linked activities of assigned branches and subsidiaries, along with their corresponding hedges
  • Gathering and standardizing a vast amount of portfolio data from a variety of sources to feed a centralized bonds portfolio monitoring and analysis
  • Develop action plans and monitor results to determine if specific targets and measures are achieved.
  • Assess associate performance and regularly communicate performance results to staff and management.
  • Determine, recommend and implement adjustments needed to meet and/or exceed annual goals.
  • Complete necessary reports on a timely basis.
  • Discuss potential risks and benefits of particular bonds, exposures or strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships other fixed income staff in various locations
  • Review and monitor bank’s portfolio for activity, duration, rating, pricing, credit and guideline compliance.
  • Maintain in-depth daily knowledge of the fixed income markets as well as portfolio management products, including the rationale for underlying holdings and sector allocation decisions. Understand and discuss performance results.
  • Maintain current understanding of market developments specific to the product and proactively communicate related information to management.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have 7-10 years relevant experience
  • Good communication skills
  • University Degree
