Under the supervision of the Head of Legal department, the Senior Legal Officer will be in charge of:

1. Preparing, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all legal documents in relation to the bank day-to-day operations.
2. Providing legal support to all departments of the bank with focus on capital markets (Islamic and conventional) and corporate banking.
3. Assisting the Head of Legal in dealing with all negotiations relevant to shariah compliant transactions (financing and capital markets) and supporting the bank in highlighting legal risk on transactions.
4. Assisting the Head of Legal in standardizing contracts, developing standard agreements, review transactions and contribute to the approval of new activities and products, complex and cross border transactions.
5. Coordinating and liaising with external legal counsels in providing legal services to all departments of the bank

EDUCATION:   Must be a College graduate / University degree holder
